Perennial container grown – cut in early summer and dried for use in Italian cuisine.

Bi-annual grown as an annual – Fresh sown two or three times annually. Flat leaved Italian my favourite variety.

If you get it right you can have sprouts from August until March the next year but to do this you need two varieties one early maturing and one late maturing.

Perennial – pot grown – cuttings taken every so often, to replace old woody plants. Seem to use it in everything – very versatile.

Not really a herb and brutally invasive so pot grown – just used for homemade horseradish sauce.
